BLOCK Gallery is pleased to announce the arrival of new photographs by John Mark Ikeda. Part of a larger body of work, these photographs depict Nazca Lines from an airplane. The ancient geoglyphs were made by the Nazca culture between 400 and 650 AD. The lines are made by uncovering the whitish ground found beneath the reddish pebbles that encase the Peruvian landscape.
